Sydney Weed & Pest Management Pty Ltd is the largest weed control company in Sydney and is a wholly Australian owned company that is managed by the owner, Dan Austin, a professional urban weed agronomist and Chemcert training provider with over 19 years experience in the Sydney metropolitan area.
Professional Staff
All weed control technicians are industry professionals who are employees (not sub-contractors) and are inducted by our in-house trainer/assessor as well as receiving on-going training in other related industry specialties.
Work is carried out under the guidance of Safe Operating Procedures and Methodologies that have been adapted for each work situation after the appropriate Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments have been carried out.
All chemicals applied are done so in accordance with the manufacturers label recommendations or as outlined in the Off Label Permits we have in place.
When working on/near water we do so under the guidelines set out in our own P.O.E.O (EPA) Permit and under instruction of the supervising agronomist who has completed an Aquatic Weed Management Course at the University of Florida.
